When I paint dandelions I remember all the wonderful memories of being a military BRAT, and being blown all over the world and experiencing all the adventures of travel the world as a child. I cherish all the wonderful people I have meet as result of being a military BRAT.
Tracy Hutchinson, veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, took up drawing and painting in 2013 to spend more time with her artist-mother. One of Tracy’s most passionate pastimes has been traveling and trekking the globe; as a Pelegrina (pilgrim) she walked the Camino de Santiago, and to Peru to trek the Inca Trail, and in 2017 she traveled to 11 countries and 20 cities to explore the Art of Europa and WWII history. Tracy has long since enjoyed writing about her life and adventures, now she captures them in her paintings and drawings. In May 2021, Tracy was the featured artist of the California Art Club (Inland Empire Chapter) and her art was highlighted during Mental Health Month by San Bernardino Behavioral Health.
